Sempronius formed the Pact with his demonic companion about 10 cycles ago. The Voidsent's name is Crocell. This ritual was completed under the guidance of his father as well as a few other Reapers that acted as 'priests' during the proceedings. It was a dark, yet intimate affair that left an impression on Sempronius. Their bond is important to him and is built upon Trust.

  BIRTH    : the death of future hopeBellunum is a small farming town in the periphery of Garlemald. While once relatively prosperous and known for its fruit orchards, the land eventually stopped giving. Life was already hard in the chilly climes of northern Ilsabard, but with the trade deals falling through and food growing rarer, the town's morale sunk with each passing cold moon. The last of the orchards were torn down just as Sempronius came into the world.  EARLY EDUCATION    : father, mentor, guiding lightWhen Sempronius was 10 years old he left Bellunum with his father to go dwell in Garlemald, the Capital. His mother and two sisters were left behind with promises that they would join them once settled in the city. That never came to pass.Lucius left his son in the care of tutors, servants, and others that were paid to provide for him. While in the city, Sempronius received a balanced education as his father was completing mission after mission and gaining the favour of those in power to gain his own. These caretakers were not cold, but neither were they warm and welcoming, especially at first. Who was this boy? Naught but a simple farmhand...His combat mentor--a retired soldier named Gallus--also had his doubts at first. These were swiftly put to rest.  LIFE OF A REAPER    : training for the military & gaining a reputation of efficient crueltyBellunum was one of the many outskirt farming towns that saw the birth of the secret Reapers that made Pacts with otherworldly entities to enact bloodshed on their enemies. This hidden Art was never supposed to leave the town, but it did in the form of Lucius. It was his father that taught him, that passed down the knowledge and rituals needed to contact the Void. When Sempronius was 25 years old, and after his rather intense training as a soldier for the Garlean Army, his father finally bequeathed the secret knowledge he held. It was then that Sempronius was indicted into the few handful of secret Reapers within the Capital that served the Empire with their blood-soaked sickles.While before his Pact Sempronius was formidable, after he was fiercesome. The demonic bond came naturally to him, as if he and his Avatar, Crocell, had met in a past life. Perhaps they unknowingly shared so many dreams across time and space. Together, they carved a legacy that rivaled his father's conquests only in half the time. They rose through the ranks, eventually becoming Centurion.Sempronius led many battles, fought many enemies, and served as a leader to the platoons under his command. While he was good at this and performed well under pressure, he much preferred to work alone. (But was he ever truly Alone?) Solo assassinations were his specialty, and Sempronius was sent across the Star to kill in secret and vanish without a trace.  ULTIMA PRODITIONE    : the ultimate betrayal & death of luciusIt was a sequence of events that began well before Sempronius was aware of anything amiss. The fated dominoes tipped over one by one until his own outer and inner worlds came crashing down around him so quickly that he is still enduring the whiplash to this day.What's done is done. His father is dead. His life is over.
He cannot return home. Doesn't want to return home.
What would he be, save for a violent ram in a barn full of gentle sheep?Doesn't even know if it still exists...No, he cannot go back, but neither can he move forward. There is only one thing to do. Only one thing he wants, desires, craves to do...

I can not and will not roleplay with you (or anyone) constantly. Respect my time; I respect yours! I am always open for these types of discussions.ㅤ  rule 003  ㅤ : invisible lines & romantic plotsI am not my character; my character is not me. Do not conflate the two. Also, I do not tolerate racism, sexism, or ableism in any form OOCly. I understand nuance for hard topics exists in the role-play space, but blatant bigoted/hateful talk will find you blocked. As a side note, Sempronius is currently open for romance/sexual encounters. These scenes may be fade-to-black per my discretion. If this ever changes, I will update this note.

ㅤ  rule 004  ㅤ : age limitsl will not role-play with any player under 21 years of age. I will not role-play with any character ICly under 21 years of age. It makes me uncomfortable. In fact, I would much prefer my more long term RP partners to be in their mid to late 20's and older.ㅤ  rule 005  ㅤ : style meshingI prefer the type of roleplay partner that is willing to chat about things OOCly and be casual friends outside of our stories together. I've found over the years that my role-play is much more enjoyable this way. If you're not open to this, then you may want to seek another writer that is more in line with your style.ㅤ  rule 006  ㅤ : content warningsSempronius has a handful of potential content warnings woven into his story, such as: grooming, intense violence, war crimes, murder, demonic corruption, revenge plots, and other dark subject matter. I am also aware that this OC is Garlean in a world where Garleans have committed horrible atrocities almost globally. Part of his character is dealing with the consequences of that aspect, but I know it can be a sensitive subject for some. Use your discretion.
